Did you know that October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month? October was declared as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 1989. Since then, October has been a time to acknowledge domestic violence survivors and be a voice for its victims.
Join Bikers C.A.R.E on this wonderful passport run to raise funds for domestic violence shelters in Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Citrus, Lake and Sumter counties. 100% of all monies raised will be disbursed equally among the shelters, to ensure that no child in their care will go without a gift from Santa this holiday season.
Bikers C.A.R.E is a motorcycle based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to end child abuse in the communities it serves and to assist children and families impacted by abuse. Bikers C.A.R.E. has a 24-7 help line that can be reached at 813-609-2457. Participants are encouraged to arrive at Wesley Chapel Harley Davidson at 9AM to begin registering. (Address: 25245 Wesley Chapel Blvd, Lutz FL 33559) This ride will leave out at 9:30AM sharp.
Wesley Chapel Harley Davidson will have vendor village and food trucks from 10AM-4PM, and a band (Double Treble) from 12-4PM. This event is open to the public. If you’re not joining the ride, we still strongly suggest you stop by and enjoy the fun we have going on at the dealership! Donations can be submitted in store to help this great cause as well, please see the front desk to scan the URL code.
Details:
1st Stop – Register at Wesley Chapel Harley Davidson at 9AM (Ride will leave out at 9:30AM)
2nd Stop – Solutions Thift Store (Located at 35535 Co Rd 52, Dade City, FL 33525)
3rd Stop – Vietnam Vets Legacy MC Clubhouse (Located at 12157 Old Dade City Road, Kathleen FL, 33849)
4th Stop – Commandoughs Pizza (Located at 5841 Gall Blvd, Zephyrhills, FL 33542)
Last Stop – Wesley Chapel Harley Davidson (Riders are expected to return from Commandoughs Pizza by noon-1pm)
The Raffle drawing will begin at 3PM (Participants will meet by the Band for raffle winner announcements.)
